KLDC 1/2DF/FL hydraulic overcenter valve with thread size G1/2 double pilot check valves
A dual cartridge counterbalance valve is a specific type of hydraulic valve used in fluid power systems. It is designed to provide control and stability to hydraulic cylinders by balancing the forces acting on them.
The counterbalance valve works by regulating the flow of fluid in both directions, allowing the cylinder to move in a controlled manner. It typically incorporates a pilot-operated design, where the flow through the valve is controlled by a pilot pressure signal. The pilot pressure is generated by the load-induced pressure acting on the opposite side of the cylinder.
When the load-induced pressure exceeds a preset value, the counterbalance valve opens to allow fluid to flow in the cylinder's retract direction. This prevents uncontrolled movement and provides stability by balancing the forces acting on the cylinder.
